Mary Bahnken is a seventh generation local with strong ties to her community and a deep love for the area’s beauty, equestrian culture and history. She has been actively involved in several local non-profit organizations such as the Santa Barbara Fiesta Stock Horse Show & Rodeo, the Santa Barbara Firefighters Alliance, the Rona Barrett Foundation, the Santa Ynez Fillies and the Santa Ynez Valley Penning Association and the Santa Ynez Valley Equestrian Association, just to name a few. A lifelong horsewoman, Mary is not only well connected in the equestrian community, she has extensive knowledge, but not limited to, local equestrian properties.
